Biography

First licensed in 2004 as VK4HLP. Changed callsign to VK4VCC in 2005. Went QRT around 2009 due to losing interest. In 2025 the interest has returned and I am now rebuilding the station. I kept paying for my licence each year while I was inactive knowing I would return to the hobby one day. Unfortunately, I did not keep, or find, any logbooks for QSO's pre 2025. I have used Public Contest Logs, QSL cards and eQSL to construct my logbooks for older contacts so my apologies for any QSO's missed.

Ex Army (straight out of school), Ex Navy (Officer), still working for the Govt but in a different capacity. Few more years before retirement. Born in Hertfordshire, England in 1968. Moved to Australia in 1973. Raised and schooled in Brisbane. Attended college studying IT and then University majoring in Chinese Studies (both during the '90s).

Currently studying for my Advanced Licence using 'Radio Theory Handbook' Ed.3 by Ron BERTRAND VK2DQ. On passing I will commence using my other callsign VK4CXT.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
