Biography

Hi there my name is Peter and I have been a Amateur radio operator for a number of years, and I studied hard to obtain my advanced call. It took me over a year to obtain but I finally got there in the end.

Equipment

I have a Yeasu 897D, and this is my main HF rig and being the radio nuts that we all are I also have some 2M and 70CM rigs also. I do have a Dstar unit in my 4X4 which I have adapted to run with my hotspot, which is good as when I go driving I can talk to people all over the world. If I feel up to it I can also use the DMR and fusion hand Helds while I am travelling as well, I am using a jumbo spot at home which I can also take with me when I am out and about.
