Biography

G'Day All,

The QTH here is Albury/N.S.W. Australia. Albury is located on the border between N.S.W (VK2) & V.I.C. (VK3), this border consists of the Murray river which flows from the Snowy Mountains (East) to the South Australian capital of Adelaide. Current radio inventory includes IC-706, TR-751, IC-T90A, IC-228A & TM-D710A. I have a Echolink node VK2TRL-R on node No. 636156 & it operates on the VK3RNE 2 Mtr. (147.000) repeater located at Mt. Big Ben in North East Victoria. I can also be located on APRS via the www.aprs.fi web page using the callsign of VK2TRL, this APRS page will also give the locations of the local Albury Wodonga Amateur Radio Club (A.W.A.R.C.) as well as the clubs 2 repeaters of VK3RNE (Mt. Big Ben) & VK3RHO (Mt. Hotham) both located in the north east section of victoria.
