Biography

Thanks for dropping by my VK2HSV Call, Please, Say G'Day by adding your CallSign to my "Web" tab above. Best 73.

IF YOU HAVE A QSO WITH ME, COULD I ASK THAT, YOU PLEASE CONFIRM IT OR ADD TO YOUR LOGBOOK

(It will be most helpful in obtaining my DXCC count and many other HAM awards being accepted) Many THNX.

Now lets get the important stuff out of the way.

I am a regular on the following DX Nets
ANZA DX Net
20m Net: 14.183 MHz, 0500 UTC, daily

Also the
Southern Cross DX Net
20m Net: 14.238 MHz, 1000 - 1030 UTC, daily

At present I only do Phone SSB, I wish to learn CW, but at present I don't have the time etc. Maybe in the near future I will get there.

I most certainly don't do FT-8, as I don't consider it to be DX.

I don't use eQSL nor any other type of Electronic QSL Method, If You send me a QSL request via these don't be disappointed that l do not respond.

I prefer to QSL Direct or via the Bureau as I love to collect the QSL cards, I think they are a huge part of the hobby & are cool to have n show off in your shack, as a badge of honour. I will also QSL Via LOTW, & QRZ.Log.

For Direct QSL Card Requests, please send self addressed Envelope & a couple of Green Stamps. I will take care of the rest. If you QSL within Australia, just send a Stamped SAE envelope..
