Biography

My station whilst being manufactured in the 1970s has so far managed to win me the
VK2 section of the 2013 Rememberence day contest and contact
a fair amount of DX stations. I enjoy a ragchew and partake in a
variety of HF and VHF Nets. I enjoy contesting and love SSTV and
digital modes. Particularly PSK31 and RTTY.

I obtained my Foundation licence in July of 2013 and quickly
upgraded to standard in Sept of 2013.
I have been an avid SWL for many decades and now that i am retired i can concentrate
on gaining my "Full Call" within 1 year. I am in the process of establishing an
APRS/WX station using a few pieces of gear i picked up at various hamfests and flea markets.

I QSL always 100% by Bureau , Direct , eQSL & HRDLog, ClubLOG and LotW !!

Active daily on 40m 20m 15m.

Daily ANZA Net 14.183 MHz 05:15 UTC
Daily AWARC Net 7.055 MHz 10:00 Local
Mon,Wed,Fri 7.130 DX Net 10:30 UTC

I QSL via the WIA Bureau and via eQSL.cc and LotW as well as direct.
For direct please add 1 IRC and sase. Hope to meet you on the bands.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

My Station consists of a Yaesu FT-101z with matching FV-101z Ext VFO, and an FT-707 with matching FP-707 and an MFJ-949E Antenna Tuner.
I also have a variety of Baofeng VHF/UHF Handhelds including UV-5r, UV-82 and BF-888.
Covering 2m & 70CM I currently have 4 antennas, a Butternut HF6V with 18 & 24MHz addon,
a G5RV Dipole and for Vhf/Uhf i have a pair of homebrew J-Poles that perform extremely well.
Im in the process of making a Multiband Yagi that will dominate the yard.
Future equipment plans are TH3 on 10M Mast with Yaesu Rotator.
Arrow yagi 2m/70cm for satellite work.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
