Thank you for visiting my page and welcome.

I do not participate in competitions as I simply enjoy making new contacts and friends.

I can often be found lurking in DMR Brandmeister TG 91, 502, 50210, 505, 510 and 50520 :-)

My QTH is approximately 55km west of the CBD Sydney, Australia, the most beautiful city in Australia and arguably the most beautiful city in the world - who said I am not bias :-)

I am relatively new to the world of DMR. Only started to get involved with DMR since March 2021, as a result of the Covid-19 lockdown and being bored not being able to go anywhere and do anything. Naturally I am still feeling my way around DMR and while I am enjoying it, I havn't a clue what I am doing :-)

Prior to DMR I was only operating on UHF(70cm) and VHF(2m) because I was limited by space around my residence where erecting antennas of any decent size for HF is not possible. As a result I am confining myself to DMR as it serves most of my present requirements.

I make use of my radios mainly in my spare time and during my overland travel exploring the Australian countryside and outback fulfilling my passion for photography, now that I am fully retired and free to move around the country without the tethering of occupational responsibilities.

Apart from Radio and Travel/Landscape photography, my other passion was Flying which I can no longer indulge due to a slight vertigo problem thus failing my medical for my pilot license.
