Biography

Licensed in January 2016; trying to learn CW (I can now carry on a QSO about 7 wpm if there's not much QRN/QRM). More interested in meeting new people via the airwaves and rag chewing than contesting.

Am beginning to be interested in making high performance crystal radio sets for AM broadcast band reception; early attempts have been promising but no DX yet. Also made my first successful attempt at listening to a ham satellite (SO-50) just a few days ago with nothing more than a rubber duck antenna, so gathering parts to make a set of UHF/VHF yagis to try my hand at satellite repeater operations.

Look forward to running into you on the airwaves!
