Biography

licensed 1954 advanced ..ve4ten/b is a ten meter beacon running 5 watts on 55 nassau apts The antenna is a 96inch whip mounted at 45 degrees. va7pl/b in Kelona BC is now QRT. My xyl is va7nrs and ve4nrs. Ellie and I operate 2 meter fm. I am operating from a highrise on the 26th floor using a 36 inch magnetic loop made out of 7/8th heliax. I run 25 watts on cw/psk31/rtty and also 2 and 440 fm .My rig is an Icom 706MK2G.I use VE4Pl as my main call. ve4ten/b is my beacon call.
