Hey all,, I have been involved in Ham Radio since the late 70’s, I found out that a family friend was a ham radio operator, so I went to see him alot in the 80’s Fred VE3DBV had me on the air talking all over with his old tube job radios, all I know is you RX on one, TX on the other,, 1991 I got my license and I used VHF UHF not much HF stuff do to my job as a truck driver, Now that am out of truck driving I find more time for HF now,, I got a Hustler 6BTV in the back yard 9 Feet off the ground and I made a Joystick Antenna that was From Partrige Electronics Ltd in the UK in the mid 1960's that works great ,, cover from 80 meters thru 10 meters with a tuner and was a great commercial success! took awhile to set it up, Got a Yeasu FT857D transceiver...... Bands you will find me on are 6, 10, 17, 20, 40, 80,
Works good for me

This is the antenna I use for all my Digital work and SSB ,, Got talking with Carl GW0VSW,, from the Magazine Practical Wireless in the UK and I think this is the best antenna if you have not much room for big antenna,, Carl added me to the December 2011 & January 2012 issue of Practical Wireless to tell fellow ham's how well it work's..
Thanks Carl
