Biography

I have been a Ham Radio Operator since 1974. My first transmitter was a Johnson Viking Ranger II, output was about 50 Watts to a dipole. The receiver was a Radio Shack AX-190.I became an Advance Amateur in 1976, and purchased my Kenwood TS820S in late 70's and was my main rig.I started to build my QRP CW equipment in early 80's. Now I mostly work QRP CW on 40 and 20 meters as well as PSK31 on 40 and 20 Meters.

Hope to See you on the Air.

73's John (VA3SQ)
