Biography

I've been interested in electronics and amateur radio ever since I was a kid and worked as an electronic technologist and later a hardware designer for 15 years or so before switching over to software programming back in the mid 80's. Spent a lot of time with firmware design, mostly on 8 bit micros, and then as a 'C' programmer on a UNIX platform.

I'm mostly interested in the digital modes and haven't been on phone in more than five years.
