I'm Val, and I like working digital modes.
When I'm not at my desk with my Icom IC-7300, you'll find me out in the field with my portable setup!
I recently put together a kit using a wire antenna for 40/20/17/15/12/10 m bands with a 9:1 UNUN, a vertical antenna 5.3m from old aluminium tent segments on a old telescope tripod, XIEGU X6100 paired with FT8CN android app.
Other hobbies include exploring the outdoor, building model airplanes, canoeing and fishing.
