Biography
I'm 39 years old and I have been involved in amateur radio since November 2024. I am very new to amateur radio and as you can guess, I am in constant research to learn and apply.
After obtaining my licence, I first acquired a TYT TH-UV98 analog dual band radio. Then, after listening to analogue channels for a while, I worked on a small antenna that I could get a suitable output for my location.
I made my first analogue QSO with this antenna. Then I bought a TYT MD-UV390 DMR radio to switch to the digital side of the business. Of course, I also bought an MMDVM hotspot with Pi-Star installed.
I also have a 3D printer that I use especially in this process and it can offer quick solutions in many subjects, especially antenna works. It should be on the list of must-have auxiliary equipment for those who are engaged in these works!
I have recently become interested in QRP devices and have acquired a uSDX HF transceiver. Of course I plan to work in the 10 mt. band within the legal limits allowed by my licence.
