Hi my name is VALERIOS ,callsign SV1QZH.

I 'm located in Halandri approximately 10 Km north of ATHENS.

I have been interested in radio for more years than I can remember.

It all started when I was a young boy and my grandfather gave me an old radio receiver" His Master Voice" if I remember it well.

I started to listen at MW AM modulation radio - pirates . At this time I started to make home brew transmiters am modulation.

I think that was the road to Amature Radio.

I spent many years to MW then to sort wave SW then I went for while to CB but my mind was always to HF and VHF bands.

I went out of radio for 20 years due family reasons and at last I decided to go for exams in order to get the licence. I passed the exams and I got my full licence in 2014.
