Biography

I am Theodor, (Theo for all my friends.)__________________________________________________________

I born on 1950 with high quality materials :-). and for this reason, I am an Electronic engineer :-)).

I am in love with electronics from my eight (8) years old, when I made my first transmitter, with one (!) transistor OC71. (do you remember this one?) and in a few days later, with the same transistor (no money!!!) my first receiver.

So, all this 50plus years, I am working, or better, play with all this, in every ''time hole'' of my mainly job.

I was working in the HELLENIC AIR FORCE CALIBRATION SERVICE for about 31 years. The half of this time as calibration technician and about the other half as production manager.

I am Radio Amateur just from 1998 (thank you my friend Dimitri (SV1DBY) for your insisted and your .press to take my callsign).

All this years (I mean 50+) I set up my R.A.P.S. (*)

My personal Radio World have the new one friend FT-2000 and the stable older friends ts 570d, ft 857,ic-m800, ic-m710, sgc 2000, receivers, as marine ITT 3020b, Marcony ec 1837/1, and several type antennas, mainly wire type, (as a loop 80m at 10meters 1,8 - 30MHz, a yagi 3 elements etc.), and mainly millions other small and big parts, units, equipments, PSU's, dumy loads, tuners,?,?,?.!!!

My other big World have my wife with the big patience (as all our XYL) my son ( who never understand, why i dont like the internet, as i like the radio ) and the beautiful plase of my QTH , in Agia Marina on East Attica.

I like make QSO with all of you, because I think that our world needs the real communication, without all the differences, that we have on politics, on religion beliefs, on education, on weight of our money and so on. And we communicate without all these!!!

I like the fact, that in a HAM fest meeting despite I have never met anyone of you before, it's just like I already "know" you and You "know" me.

I like to play the guitar and also painting, photography, rock and clasical music.

But I dont like that the days have only 24 hours, and that we have only one life!!!

I like the QSL cards, as the beautiful small things-memories of our communication. So please send to me your PAPER CARDS, either via BUREAU or via DIRECT. But I have seen, especially lately, that more and more radio-friends are increasingly used as the sole confirmation of our radio contact by means of e-QSL. So in order to have ''souvenirs'' from these contacts and by those friends whose using only e-QSL , I am now ready to confirm contact with these friends by e-QSL.
