Biography

Hello to all operators.

My name is Marek, my QTH is the central coast of Poland (middle north), the city of Reda (15 km south-west from GdaƄsk Bay) and I started to be interested in ham from the beginning of 2021.

I am a novice in the amateur bands, but I deal with radio communication professionally because I am an operator in the GMDSS maritime service since year 2014 which is based on VHF, UHF, HF and sat com on ships where I work as a navigational officer and dynamic positioning operator.

I work mainly on 80,40 & 20 meters band.
While I am at work on the ship, you may be able to hear me on the air from the North / East Scotland around Aberdeen or underway somewhere in the exterritorial waters in the North Sea as SP2SM / MM.

While I am ashore my equipment is 2x19,6 m long dipole and 2x10 m one, both with 1:1 balun. My rtx for now is ICOM 7300 100W as stationary shack and portable device is Xiegu G90 20W max power.

When onboard I use sometimes FURUNO 150W marine version and vertical antenna.

I invite everyone to communication, a longer chat will also give me pleasure.
At the moment, I do not send QSL via the office, but via @ yes.( ham.sp2sm@gmail.com )

I wish you all successful DX and great propagation.

Regards and 73

Equipment
