Biography

License since 1976 and has been QRV on 160-23cm as SM5HJZ. In 2023 I will have EME capability on 144 and also QRV on 432 and 1296 MHz. In the fall of 2022, I became QRV for the first time with FT4 and FT8, a fantastic mode for a small station like the one I have on HF.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

At HF I have a short LW, only 20 m long and it hangs 6-7 m above the ground.
The station is an IC-7300 that outputs 100 W. The Yagi antenna is an 11-el for 144 MHz that sits 7 m above the ground. The antenna for 50 MHz is a 5-el Yagi a few meters above the other antennas.
