Biography

Hello fellow ham,

I'm born 1961 and licenced 2010.

Active on HF only CW.

I tried to learn the morse code as a teenager in the 70's but eventually gave it up.
2010 (35 years later!) I resumed to practice with my own developed iPhone app (see below) and finally got a license!

There is obviously no requirement on morse code skills today, but I still think CW is the most fun mode :)

I strongly encourage you to follow the DX Code of Conduct: http://dx-code.org
Our fantastic hobby will be so much more fun!

I have also developed two CW practice apps for iPhone®/iPad® called CWSpeed and CWText (available on AppStore).

Hope to meet you on the bands!

Equipment

I use fairly simple equipment:

- Elecraft K3, 100 W, 400Hz and 250Hz 8-pole CW filter, KRX3 sub receiver
- Elecraft KX3, 10 W (for portable use and in my summer house)
- Home made multiband (10, 15, 20, 30, 40 & 80m) off-center fed dipole
- Begali Sculpture & Begali Adventure CW paddles
- MacBook Pro with MacLoggerDX and N1MM logger (using VMWare Fusion)
- No microphone ;-)

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
