Biography

My name is Vladimir and I live in a small village Dösjebro in southern Sweden - Skåne.

Our village is surrounded by fields and small forests, with very close proximity to the northern sea and Oresund. This area is full of historical monuments starting from neolithic tombs and arcs and ending with tombs of viking era. Early agriculture started about 6 thousand years ago and continues up till now with many scenic fields.

I got interested in listening radio about 10 years ago, and just recently I got my callsign. As any new-bee I want to try everything, but not at once. POTA/SOTA and field days sound very exciting!

Equipment

Home shack has FTDX-3000 with MD-100 mic, mobile and portable transceivers: FT-857D and FT-818.

HF HyEndFed end-feed antenna for 40-20-15-10 meter bands with spole for 80 meters is installed above the house 9m from the ground with slope to 8m mast.
VHF/UHF Diamond antenna handles 2m/70cm band, but so far I don't see much traffic there.
