Biography

Greetings from Sweden,

I am a former USN radioman, who has taken up this hobby again after some 60 years.

(I was an SWL back in 1953 planning to get my certificate, but it never happened.)

Now, as a pensioner, I had the time [and money] to set up a radio shack and study for

the exam. Quite a bit has changed in the world of radio in six decades. I received my

certificate on Friday the 12th of June, 2015, so I still have to practice to get back
my CW speed.

That will be difficult at my age.... but I am close to 18 WPM already. Practice DOES

make perfect — I hope. Still have to improve on abbreviations not used in the Navy. hi hi
