Biography
PhD in physical and mathematical sciences (since 2015), theoretical physicist; professor assistant in Perm State University.
The first try to get a callsign was in 2004, but some troubles (first of all, financial :) ) made impossible to build or buy any equipment. I've passed new examination to 3rd class in April 2019, and now I'm on air. I got The 2nd class license at 2020, September.
I prefer to be more active in CW and digital modes. For digital QSO, I'm using WSJT-X and test versions of JTDX software and their possible modes. Even though I dislike FT8 because of its automatization, high temp and message limits, I think it is impossible to ignore FT8 today. Sometimes, I use JT9, JT65 and T10. These modes permit to experiment with low power and short mobile antennas placed on balcony or extra-short random wires. In addition, I'm trying PSK.
Also, I'm participate in local ARDF events and construct simple useful and useless devices.
RCWC Member #1256 (Russian CW Club)
I have electronic QSL accounts: LoTW, eQSL and Hamlog, but I will be thankful for paper QSL. The paper cards more enjoyable. I accept direct as well as bureau without any fees.
