Biography

Ex: UR5ZCL, UT0ZA
Main: R3PB
Temporary: R752MAK

I have two hobbies, amateur radio and gliding. And I combine them. My flying club 2MAK is celebrating its 75th anniversary. Our radio headquarters is located on the territory of the Pakhomovo airfield (ICAO: UUDP). The noise of working engines and airplanes and gliders flying overhead compete with the noise of the air and working radio stations :) But that's not all. These days, Saturday, Sunday, I work on HF in flight, from a glider. And I think it's a unique experience. It is not often that you can hear amateur stations traveling by plane and working from the aircraft on HF. But never from a glider. If you hear R752MAK/am, then I'm in the sky in a glider. This call can sometimes be heard on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 13:00 UTC until mid-September. Friends, I'm waiting for you on the frequencies 14.137 MHz, 18.137 MHz, 21 MHz, as well as 145.500 in VHF.

ps. Getting ready for a little trip under the clouds on CW...
