Hi there, i am Rinse 58 years of age, born in the netherlands and moved and living on Bonaire island since 2018. (pj4nx ask me to come over for holiday, this is a very long holiday)
i am not working (i support them) for a carrental company, they also rent scooters and doing the most beautiful island tours, so if you come to Bonaire and you need a car/scooter or want to make an island tour just sent me an E-Mail.

Since 2018 i was less active as before because i did not have a own tranceiver, since februari 2022 i am the happy owner of a FTDX 10 and active again.

Got my licence in 2016. Been swl/pirate for 42 years.

The trx in use is a Yaesu FTDX10, original microphone
Power supply, Chinese export 40 amps (second one in a week, they do not like 127 Volts but only 110V or 220V) 4 weeks ahead, and yess, power supply number 3, 50 Amps and connected to 220 Volts, hope this one will do it....
Antenna?? i can not tell you, i think a 49:1 balun with a couple of metres wire, only 3 meters above the ground and in the middle of the city of Kralendijk!!!! seems to work fine, power somewhere between 5 and 40 watts because balun gives me no space in that, but covers:

160 m,
60 m,
40 m,
30 m,
20 m,
17 m,
15 m.
12 m,
10 m and,
6 metres so anywhere i did some good.

And then this is the situation of the antenna at the moment, the balun is in the garden in the gravel then the wire runs through the letterbox to the palm tree growing next to the house and then shoots up to the 2.5 m in another palm tree, something is going right somewhere.....

For 2 m an d 70 cm i am using a TYT th7800 and a motorola to be portable on 70cm, 2 m is not in use here.

Oww yeah last but not least, i am not a robot so do everything by hand, sometimes missing a call, sorry for that.(age probably)
