Biography

Welcome on the website from Ronald PE2HVH. Ronald earned in 1980 his Novice Radio Amateur Licence, his call sign was PDøJDU. In 1988 he passed the exam for the Full license. Ronald became the callsign PE1MPS. In 1990 Ronald moved to Hook of Holland he also changed his call sign in to PE2HVH. HVH stands for Hoek Van Holland ( Dutch name for Hook of Holland.)

Hook of Holland is a small village in the south-western corner of the Netherlands at the outfall of the Nieuwe Waterweg canal to the North Sea. (Locator: JO21BX). The village is managed by the municipality of Rotterdam as a district of the city. The Netherlands, a country in northwestern Europe, is known for a flat landscape of canals, tulip fields, windmills and cycling routes. The most important city is Rotterdam, with the main port to Europe.

Ronald has also the maritime radio officers certification Marcom-A / GOC (General Operator's Certificate)

Ronald is married and has four children.

Other hobbies: computers, telecom, radio technology, swimming, aquariums, ponds, and genealogy of the surname Eygendaal and allotment garden.

Ronald is working as Advisor Information Security for the Dutch government.

Ronald is member of Association for Experimental Radio Research in The Netherlands (VERON) and he is also member of the Old Timers Club (OTC).
