Biography

Hi everyone,

My name is Anton Draaisma and I just started my hobby as SWL by scanning the ham-bands with software defined radio.

I am located in Leeuwarden, the northern part of the Netherlands.
For a more specific location or idea, you can check out this video I created:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n4pPSiXbhSo

Hope you like it.

I hope to spot as many stations as possible with my small set up containing of an PC, SDR Play USB receiver and an active miniwhip antenna. (a picture of that is at the end of the video).

The software I am using differs and is either one of the following SDR Sharp, HD SDR or SDR Uno. Depends a bit on my mood which one I am using.

The antenna currently is placed in-house, which is not the best place, but for now it will do.
I will write something on the page of the ham's that I did receive (and allow it of course) and also post it on eqsl.cc.

If there's more I can do, please let me know!

Thanks for visiting my page

73's!

Ps: when I give an RS(T) report, i try to be honest about it. A 59 really is a 59! Everything else is scored accordingly as I believe this mifht help you more than a polite 59 :)

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands. Click here and find out more about the project and how you can endorse it.
