Biography
Hello and thank you for your visit.
My name is Rob and my QTH is Zoetermeer, a city with 130,000 inhabitants about 45 km (28 miles) south of Amsterdam.
I started my radio hobby in the mid-seventies, first with home-build projects on 3 meters, then on 11 meters (27 MHz). I obtained my radio license in early 1979 and was intensively involved in the radio hobby for 12 years, but after this period the hobby took a back seat.
However, I remained active in the background with electronics, computers, and military radio communications, matters directly related to my daily work.
Now (2026), I restart the radio hobby and listening to new and old signals. After all, the radio hobby remains amazing.
