PD1TWO – Leo, The Netherlands

Hello and welcome!

My name is Leo (PD1TWO) and I am an amateur radio operator from the south of the Netherlands (Locator: JO31BG).

I enjoy many aspects of the hobby, including HF, VHF/UHF, satellites, APRS, portable operation, SDR technology and experimenting with radio software. I especially like combining amateur radio with Linux, open-source projects and custom-built tools.

I am also the creator of DX Jungle (dxjungle.nl), a community-driven project that makes amateur radio more accessible through live tools, satellite tracking, propagation information and practical resources. The goal is simple: help both newcomers and experienced operators enjoy the hobby while keeping the spirit of experimentation alive.

DX Jungle is built by a radio amateur, for radio amateurs. Everything is developed with a focus on learning, sharing knowledge and having fun.

When I'm not behind the radio, you'll probably find me improving DX Jungle, testing new ideas or building something that makes operating just a little easier.
