Hello OM, my name is Jan and I'am a Ham sinds 1975. My QTH is Oudorp, part of the city Alkmaar about 40 Km North of Amsterdam. My house is standing on a Island close to the centre of Alkmaar, the cheese-city of the world.

Equipment

I am working with a Yaesu FT-897D or Icom IC-7200 for HF and VHF.

The antenna is a G5RV,GR5RV junior, Slooper, GB3 or VR3 from Jaybeam with a AT-897 plus tuner from LDG for the FT-897 or AT200 for the IC-7200.

For the VHF I have a IC-90E, IC-E880 and ID-31E for D-star all from Icom and a Yaesu FT-8900R for 10M, 6M, 2M and 70cm for the mobile.

I have also a DVRPTR and AMBE board for D-Star in use as a short range hotspot.
I am using Hamradio de Luxe and MIXW (licenced) for the digimodes and it's working very good for the IC-7200 and FT-897.

For the IC-7200 I use also the RS-BA1 software from Icom, used fore remote communication.

I also QRV on D-Star en WIRES-X.
