Biography
Licenced in 1983 with the call OZ1JSZ, later changed to OZ8ACN and licence today is class A 1000 watts
Before i got my licence, and a long time after, i was very active as SWL with the sign OZ-DR2044.
SWL will always get my QSL back, but remember to note the call on the station i had QSO with.
Educated as wireless operator / telegraphist in the Danish Navy and ended up in 1994 with GOC / GMDSS certificate.
In my sparetime im radiooperator on the museums fregate F-352 Peder Skram located on Holmen the former Naval Base Copenhagen. The ship have an operating radiostation with equipment similary to what was in the ship when it was decommisioned in 1988.
The radiostation is operated on radioamateur basic with the call OZ1RDN (Royal Danish Navy). Search the call, the ship have an qrz account and is on FaceBook too.
