Biography

Please visit us at www.on7sa.org

OT calls are special calls for Belgium, which can only be used in large contests.

This allows Belgian contesters or large contest stations to work with high power (1.5 kW).

As a bonus, you will also receive a short 2x1 call. The number in the call is always the last digit of the year in which it was used.

This means that the contest call for ON7SA in 2002 was OT2H, and in 2000 we were OT0H. You no doubt understand the design.

After the reorganization of the calls by BIPT in 2006, this has become OT5M.

Despite the fact that we are a medium-sized radio club, only a few are interested in contests. The low solar activity, qrl, other activities and hobbies ensure that the contest event is currently at a low level. Yet we have already achieved good results in the past:

OT0H CQ WW DX SSB 2000 6th place EU (LP SB 15m)

OT0H CQ WW DX CW 2000 5th place EU (LP SB 15m)

OT1H ARRL 10m CW 2001 3rd place WW DX and 1st place EU + ON (SOLP)

OT1H ARRL DX SSB 2001 6th place WW (LP SB 15m)

OT1H CQ WW WPX 2001 1st place in Belgium (LP SB 15m)

OT2H ARRL DX CW 2002 9th place WW, 1st place Belgium
