Biography

Hello OMs, SWLs,

Born in 1939 in Liège (city close Germany and Holland).

I got my license in 1978 with the callsign ON7VA, active at QTH Vinalmont (nr Huy) during 7 years, after I stop for 22 years all activities.

Now lived in Anderlecht for over 12 years,so one day I decide to resume.

My main interest is still CW operation and antennas building, interest began in 1956 when I joined the merchant navy. Now retraited I enjoy just chat on cw, I'm not looking after awards.

I am a member of FISTS, SKCC and CFT (Belgian).Unfortunatly due the situation I work with a small sloped endfed antenna (7,6m) on 40m band.

I am active allmost everydays on the 40 meters band (cq 7.034 khz). With many local houses around me, the band noise are notably high.

I like the use of my Hi-Mound MK-701 key, guess the best way for me to meet you .

I let my fingers do the talking

Worked DXCCs:

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
