| Biography I was a shortwave listener in the late 70ties.
Lost interest (school, work marriage, kids).
But now I'm retired, so I picked up the old hobby again, and got my licence in 2023.
First as on3spr, but A licence since march 2024
Equipment : HF: Kenwood TS-2000, and recently,a new bought Kenwood TS-590.
Mat 1500Pro ATU
Antenna : A99 1/2 wave vertical,
Multiband dipole,
40meter long endfed
All at 15 meter from ground.
VHF/UHF : Icom 2730 with diamond X-300
No FT8 or other digi modes for me. I prefer the "real" conversations in ssb or fm.
