Biography

Born in 1952,in the village of Berlare,province of Eastern Flanders,lived for about 50 years in the area of the city Ghent;started on cb radio in 1976,went for my basic license in the 80's,and finaly obtaint my Harec License in '89.I have been out of the air SINCE 2013 ,yet back since 18 August 2019.

Besides Ham radio i have been working several years on my family tree that i was able to trace till about 1490 on the paternal line,all living in the same province of Eastern Flanders.Containig about 27500 people yet....in 1699-1700 one of ours went to La Hispañola(actualy Dominican Republic) with wife and 3 children; having immigrants from family in Germany,USA,the Netherlands,France and of course Belgium as far we know

For the base, i have simple Yaesu FT 991 A line that is doing a fb job,,it also allows Working HF/6m/VHF/UHF and digital on VHF/UHF
in C4FM mode,combined with the original AT for 80- 10 M,with an endfed antenna from aprox 22 M, 8M up...and a vertical for 2m-70 cm,a Diamond X 50
