Biography

Hi guys, welcome to my profile!

I first became interested in radio in 1993 when I was 14 years old. The 11 meters was "my"
band and I have 205 Countries confirmed by QSL's from these times ;-)

In 1998/99 spent compulsory military service as senior radio operator in Czech Army and
learned CW. Later on I got my first HF HAM license (2005), but not used it that much.

Travelling around the world is my another passion.
I've been to 42 countries so far and can't wait to visit another one...

Finally back to the hobby in 2020, thanks to the Coronavirus and lockdown.
HF bands are my favorites with SSB preffered. Due to my very simple antennas setup
FT-8 is a great way how to stay active on bands, especially during current poor propagations.

Worked DXCCs:

Equipment

RIG:  Yaesu FTDX10 + M-100 Mic + SP-30
ANT: Diamond HFV-5 Dipole
        Sirio SD-27 Dipole

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
