Biography

Mostly a QRP and CW op, I am a ham located in Ilomantsi, Finland (OH-County 703, locator KP52LP). Ilomantsi is the easternmost county in Finland and the easternmost point of continental European Union is located in Ilomantsi.

I made Finnish basic class in may 2005 and general class in December 2005. I QSL through SRAL Bureau. E-QSLs are welcome as well as direct QSLs (eQsl Authenticity Guaranteed). LoTW is in the works.

I am re-learning CW so please be patient :)

I also operate occasionally on FT8 mode and sometimes even on SSB.

Equipment

I am currently operating in restricted antenna conditions: I am using a ZS6BKW multiband dipole up at 16 meters. The dipole is fed with 450-ohm ladder line. With this dipole I can operate with my rigs built-in tuner on 80 m, 40 m, 20 m, 17 m, 10 m and 6 m bands.

My SDR-RX is an Elad FM-S2. Eladfunctions also as a second receiver to my Yaesu FT-950 as well as a panadapter.
