born in 1953
I am Ham since 1987 , most working on shortwave in any mode
like to do summit on the air (SOTA) with my Ft817 or the chinese 5 band trx X1M platinum SSB/CW with simple hommade antennas .
Now working often in new mode FT8 and also JT65.
my qth Gamlitz is located in south-east of austria close the border
to slovenia (S5) is a small village into a wine - farming area
the QTH himself is on the top of a hill 460 meters above sea level
no very near neighbours and enough land for my antennas

Now have problems with my illness , after 45 year of diabetes my nerves in legs and hands are nearly destroyed and i have no feelings in it, not enough i have now also parkinson desease ,also my voice is bad from time to time so i can not speak clearely ,
so dear friends be patient with me and excuse my speach and bad cw i have my fingers not every time under control, sorry i cannot do my beloved driving my scooter anymore and not possible to do active sota, but i am still on the bands mostley chasing sota and if possible dx but open for any contact also.....
