Biography
After much prodding from my father, WB5ZOI – SK, I became KB5BOB on 12-31-1986 and kept the license till the upgrade to Extra in July 2007 as AE5CL. I did not like it so NX5O was snagged. I have also held KC6OO while on DXpedition to Palau in 1993. What a treat that was.
My main interest is RTTY and you can find me in almost any RTTY Contest. I do enjoy trying all of the modes, from SSTV to ATV to PSK31…And CW from time to time.
I do work Satellite from time to time.
I hold the following ARRL Awards:
DXCC - MIXED #41,827
DXCC - RTTY #2,433
WAS - RTTY #563
Triple Play #415
VUCC SAT # 192 and am working on 5 Band DXCC and 5 Band WAS which is now completed.
SMIRK - 6914
I QSL via the LOTW and Direct with SASE.
If we have worked before many thanks and if not I will look for you on the bands.
