Biography

I live on the Texas gulf coast, about 50 miles south of Houston, Texas, in the small town of Brazoria, TX 77422. I live on the high bank of the west side of the Brazos River. I am a military combat veteran, having served in the U.S. Army. I am a licensed Private Pilot and own a Piper Cub airplane. I am also a licensed Airframe and Powerplant aircraft mechanic with Inspection Authorization certification from the Federal Aviation Administration. I am also a licensed Private Investigator licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety. I own and ride a 1965 Harley-Davidson Panhead motorcycle. I receive mail at my registered FCC ham radio address.

Equipment

Kenwood TS480SAT radio. Antenna Tuner is Palstar AT-500. Power Supply is Astron RS-70M. Antenna is an open-wire inverted V that is 68 feet-10 inches long on each side of hanger, for a total of 137 feet - 8 inches from wire end to wire end. Center point is hanging from a tree limb at 35 feet height. The open-wire feeds into the side of the house at a 45 degree angle from the hanger in the tree. Antenna wires are pointing east and west.
