Biography

I’m an avid DXer. The pinnacle of my DX endeavors has been the ultimate success of the KP1-5 Project’s activation of Desecheo (K5D, 2009) and Navassa Island (K1N, 2015). This capped off an almost 20-year dream that I and others on the Project had. Now, needing only one (P5) to achieve #1 Honor Roll, I chase RTTY-DX to fill the hours. That has lead me to RTTY contesting which has also become a passion as well. We live on a normal city lot; so big antennas and amps are not in the cards. I focus on station ergonomics in an attempt to be more competitive in contesting and chasing DX. You can see more about that by visiting my website, www.na5u.us, and clicking the Operating tab. So, I hope you will drop by na5u.us and that you find something of interest and possibly help in your personal life or amateur radio pursuits. Your feedback is appreciated.

73,

Mike
