Biography

Thank you for visiting. My interest in radio started at a very young age, when some of us would listen to the amateur radio bands on my brother's shortwave receiver in the early 1960's. I was then hooked, and became active on the CB/11 meter band thru the '60's and '70's before studying for my amateur radio license. It wasn't until 1991 when I became licensed, and received my current general class. I am currently using a Yaesu FTdx-1200 with a ocf dipole. I am interested in wire antennas, building them, and experimenting with them. SWL reports are very much welcomed! Enjoy the hobby everyone. 73, Stan
