Biography

Became licensed as KB8KIF, and N8NZW in 1987. Changed call sign to N3QOM while working for Watkins Johnson on the HF1000 receivers in 1993. Became vanity call N8CDW after moving from Kokomo IN too Rockford IL in 1999.

Hobbies include embedded software development, piloting small aircraft, computers and creating ham radio systems (Antennas, APRS, Repeaters and HF Stations).

I am a member of OMIK, ARRL, and The Free and Accepted Masons. Owner and Control OP of the WW9P repeaters on 442.775 C4FM, 146.955 C4FM, 443.325 DMR MHz in Rockford, IL.

Co-founder Prairieland Amateur Radio Society (PARS) Repeater.
