Biography

At the Matthew Knight Arena, had the honor of checking-in and providing badges for the Ukranian team for the World Championship Oregon 22. Welcome Blue and Yellow!! You all were amazing.



Though I have been interested in radio from childhood, and got a Boy Scout Merit Badge in CW (as well as the first in Nuclear Energy) it took retirement and the COVID pandemic to get me back into amateur radio. I am hooked on SDR (because I think of the universe in terms of the Fourier Transform) and digital radio generally. My time and energy is spent on Emergency Communication - both practice and recruitment - on antenna design, QRP, UWB and novel modes (e.g. Chaos-shift Keying).
