Biography

I'm a brand new old ham, first licensed as KA6BSF in 1978. My amateur activity waned in the late '80s but I kept my ticket current and am enjoying this hobby all over again.

I have a Kenwood TS-2000 feeding a DX Commander in a garden, as Cal would say.

Also up in the air is an Anli A100 for 2M & 70CM

Radios include Kenwood above

Yeasu FT203R

2 Baofeng UV5R's

Azden PCS2000

Juntai JT6188

Pro-2053 scanner

And a pleasant surprise was the rediscovery of an old VHF engineering 2/70 linear in a bin in the garage I hadn't looked in for quite some time. Useful for both SSB (Class AB) and FM (Class B), I had bought this many years ago and lost track of where it was.
