Greetings..

Located on 40 acres in Olancha, California (20 miles south of Lone Pine - East side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains - 4200ft elevation). Living off-grid, utilizing 99% solar power.

Main station components are 12vdc, including a Flexradio 6500 SDR transceiver, 12v Fanless PC, Henry SS750 solid-state amp. Also have a Military MEP003a diesel generator (that was operated in Iraq to power a field medical station). It supplies power to a Henry 8k Ultra, which operates easily at legal limit.

Using one TX antenna for all of the HF bands. It's homebrewed (including feedline), unique, utilizes over 1/2 mile of wire in the air, yet still remains a mystery.. Codename: "The Bermuda Triangle".

Working with several RX arrays that are constantly evolving.

Operation is mostly Short Wave Listening, with some DX, ragchew, net relaying, and mobile.

Worked 30 years in the aerospace industry.
