| Biography QSLs You send me yours, I’ll send you mine. If it’s DX, I’ll probably use Buro. But if you mail me one direct, I’ll send one back direct. No self address stamped envelope required. I’m good in QRZ.com and eQSL.cc. Finally figured out Logbook of The World so I’m good there. I’ll upload those at the end of every month. I totally understand if you don’t send qsl cards or do the qrz type thing. Especially the high rollers who get a couple thousand Q’s per contest. But I’m not there yet. Hihi I’m lucky to do a dozen Q’s a week. It’s going up more as I dabble in digital. I did a POTA recently and I plan to do more. Usually CW. Looks like a lot of folks need South Dakota. So glad I moved here now. 73’s de n5vwn Equipment I usually use QRP equipment. But I do pull out the old Icom 706 mk1 for 100 watts or if I want on 160 meters or 6 meters. My main rig is an Elecraft KX2. I also use the (tr)uSDX qrp set up for classic bands. Mostly CW. SSB is a bit frustrating at qrp levels. My main antenna is from MFJ. part no. MFJ-1984. It’s stealthy as I’m renting a place right now. Sometimes I use MFJ-1982 end fed half wave 10-80meters. It’s my favorite. No tuning mostly if I set it up just right. Even on WARC bands. I’d like to get a vertical someday. I also use a k6ark EFHW for field use which is similar to the MFJ-1984. Also other antenna experiments are constantly being tried. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
