Biography

Have been involved in radio one way or another since back in the 60's. Was involved with the packet radio society 2 years before getting my ticket. I have enjoyed all aspects of the hobby since. I currently operate on the DTTN , 7290, Central Area, Fifth Region, TTN, Gulf Coast Hurricane Net, ISBN, and Southwest Traffic nets. I am also an accredited VE and EMCOMM field examiner and an Official Relay Station for N. TX as well as the ARES EC for Hopkins Co and the ARRL NTS Central Area Transcontinental Corps Director for Cycle 1 & 2.

I am trying to get back into Packet and Pactor after being away from it for 20 years. I am also starting to use some of the digital modes when i have free time. I love old radio gear working or not as I will eventually get around to making them work. I have been in communications and tower installation for the better part of 30 years now and still love to be in the air.

I QSL VIA the W5 BUREAU, EQSL, QRZ, And LOTW as well as direct.

Hope to hear you on the bands, 73, Jeff de N5TMC EM23ec N.E Texas

I will QSL all who send me one SASE not needed
