Biography

Greetings. I go by Steve and am retired. I have been licensed for about 3 years and initially got interested seeing first hand the importance of Ham radio operators during Hurricane Katrina. I received my General Class license in April/2014 and really enjoy DX contacts. I enjoy the outdoors and my family and friends. I love just about all music and play numerous instruments.

I owe so much to my Elmer, KA5JLP along with N5PDA, KF5QNX, and KA5TNT. I would never have made it this far without all of their help. I enjoy participating in Nets on 2 meters, 70cm, 40 meters, and 75-80 meters. I have a few close hams that I enjoy rag chewing with.

I had no idea that I would enjoy Ham radio so much. I guess the old saying, "Better late than never" applies to me. Thanks for dropping by and checking my page. I hope it's because we've made contact or trying to.
