Biography
I spent 22 years in the American army, and retired in 1992. I am a veteran of 2 wars. During my years I have been to a lot of places and seen many things, I have been working at my current job for the past 22 years. Its shift work and my shift of choice has been graveyard, but I am getting burned out. Hopefully I will be moving to Day Shift this August.
Day shift at long last! HiHi!
My novice call sign was KA5LPB, issued in the late 70's or early 80's. I upgraded to general and changed to N5FSN. Since then I have also operated HL9SN and AAB6SN. Everytime I get the urge to change my callsign I remember my days on CW and the music was cool!
These days I started doing HF again after many years of being off the air. I also have a frequent schedule with my good friend Steve, GW4WBT via Echolink.
As far as QSL's go...well I am an old ham so I do like real cards, so I prefer a direct QSL. To keep up with what is going on I will use LoTW, and eQSL. I have had problems with eQSL, so if you have any trouble with the info I have on our QSO then LoTW is better because I erase problems at eQSL. Frustrating!
