Biography

Hello. My name is Mark A Currens(N4VER) and I reside 5.8 miles south of Versailles Ky (Woodford County-County #-120) in which I primarily operate either on SSB and or frequently check in on many of the 2 meter & 440 MHz(70cm) nets at this point in time. Currently, I am serving the ARRL Ky Section as the Affiliated Club Coordinator as well as also serving as a State Government Liaison. In the past years, I have been very active within the Masonic Fraternity. Presently, I am 26 year employee of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet - Division Of Equipment Garage #14 as a Welder2 near Lexington Kentucky. It would be a true honor to meet you via Amateur Radio whatever mode or wherever our paths may cross down the log. Thanks & My Very Best Regards.
73 DE N4VER.

Equipment

Currently I am operating either a Kenwood TS-830S with either a MC-50.MC-60 or a MC-80 or even a GE EM28A(Shure) microphone or my other rig which is a Yaesu FT-920 with a Heil
Goldline Mic depending on what mood I am in(Hi-Hi). The antenna is a Mono-Band Cubical Quad which is about 75 feet tall or my inverted vee antenna. I do not run any amplifier with my station at this time.

DX Code Of Conduct

dx code of conduct small logoI support the "DX Code Of Conduct" to help to work with each other and not each against the others on the bands.
