Biography

First licensed in (I think!) 1965 as novice KN7YEM in Billings, MT; then upgraded to General K7YEM. Long period of inactivity, until (prodded by high school students in my physics class in Shafter, CA) I became N6VRK, KK6EB, then AA6UL as I tried to keep up with my students in the school radio club. Later I took the vanity calls N7RI and now (after moving to Virginia) N4RLI.
Having retired from teaching, there's more time for operating, building and restoring. Ham radio was, is now, and always will be a BLAST!
